Orbit Developments

Since 2011, Orbit have been a big supporter of Macclesfield initiatives and has invested around £56,000 into local events such as East Cheshire Hospices’ Hike the Hill and festivals such as Barnaby and Loominus.

We also supported The Thread, an events partner with Make it Macclesfield, and more recently sponsored the Macclesfield Business Awards (now rebranded as North East Cheshire Business Awards).

As well as supporting public events, the success of Macclesfield as a business destination is a priority. We have a number of high-profile businesses occupying our properties such as Zuto, Fourth, Bodycote, Plastic Card Services and Momentum Instore.

By bringing in and retaining more businesses, we’ve helped to bring more jobs to Macclesfield, in turn contributing to lower unemployment and putting Macclesfield on the map as a place for business.

Not only do we provide space for well established companies, but by providing affordable office space to business start-ups, we’re helping aspiring entrepreneurs bring a new set of skills to the area.

This, together with the launch of our recent initiative, Macclesfield Means Business, highlights our commitment to driving forward the regeneration of Macclesfield with the aim of it becoming a thriving Town Centre for businesses, residents and visitors once again.
